Track Overview
In this track, you will learn what goes into community development by exploring past youth-led development projects and pitching an idea to strengthen your community based on asset mapping.
Your project deliverables include a short project overview, a pitch deck and a presentation pitching your community development idea.
The primary learning outcomes are:
- To apply critical thinking, empathy and creativity in designing community development ideas to strengthen your community, building off of existing assets
- To use presentation slides and effective delivery techniques to persuade others to buy into your proposed idea
