Track Overview
This track is designed to introduce you to the world of “Data Analytics” and “Big Data.” Throughout your experience, you will gain the basic knowledge, skills, and insights into working in roles at data-driven organizations.
You will explore the capabilities and challenges of data-driven decision making and engage in hands-on work with data and software applications.
Topics to be covered include data analyst career pathways, types of and tools for data analysis, using big data to solve economic and social issues, how to make data-driven decisions, and effective data storytelling techniques.
The final project will showcase your basic understanding of data analytics and big data to solve a problem, inform a stakeholder, and/or analyze and manipulate information to drive a decision.
