Track Overview
In this track, you will explore what a policy is, how policies are developed and how you can create and effectively advocate for a policy addressing an issue that you care about.
Your project deliverables include a policy memo and a Power Point pitch deck and a presentation pitching your policy recommendation(s).
The primary learning outcomes are:
- To apply critical thinking, empathy and adaptability skills in assessing existing policies
- To leverage interpersonal skills and collaboration to gather feedback on and shape policy recommendations
- To use presentation slides and effective delivery techniques to pitch and advocate for your policy recommendation(s)
