Track Overview
In this track, you will explore media literacy, media influence and influencers, and representation in media.
Your Create project will include an analysis of highly rated, top watched media content to identify trends and representation (or lack there of) along with an analysis of three major news outlets. You will share your media review in a short, 3-5 minute presentation with your peers and career mentors.
The primary learning outcomes are:
- To apply critical thinking skills in your analysis of media
- To apply empathy in your review of representation in media
- To effectively present your perspective with confidence and supporting content
